“Les Intouchables”

.

Promise me you’ll go see this film

C’est fantastique!

Funny, touching and the actors are amazing.

It’s for everyone.

Trust me on this.

Watch the trailer HERE (though I don’t think it really does the film justice)

  1. Wow–if that preview didn’t meet with your approval I am shocked as it sure whet my appetite to see this film//thanks for the heads up on it…….I will have to wait for the DVD of it though as I can’t go to the movies!!

  2. Many “laugh-out-loud” moments that are so sweet and saucy; gifted to us through honesty -often highlighting life’s most ordinary of ordinary steps, trips and trials. The down to earth characters are trading “spectacles” and basking in the view – Somehow the purity found by their examination, exploration and then sharing, well, two very different perspectives desolve to a glow of one, then many. It is lovely, loving and lasting. Yes, C’est fantastique! it shares blessings.

  3. Hi Slim….Happy that you love the movie…Francois Cluzet is one of the greatest French actor, giving so much energy when he’s acting!(You must see “Ne le dis a personne”,with him as well,he is incredible!)….About Omar Sy,I know and work with him since 8/10 years and he is the same in the film and in real life..So funny,so charming,so cool!!!!….Take care and see you soon for some new adventures!…XXX

  4. Thank you! A friend also said I MUST watch it but sadly there’s no release date for the UK yet. Can’t wait!

  5. I have and fell madly in love with both if them not to mention I’m now wishing for that incredible Maserati. It’s one of the best if not the best films so far this year! I couldn’t wait to post it once I saw it a few weeks ago. Do you remember the
    25th night of S-e-p-t-e-m-b-e-r…….!

  6. Merci Slim I completely forgot! Thanks for the reminder, everyone has loved this movie. Download Tout de Suite!

  7. Thanks for the tip. I’ll give it a try.
Have a great weekend! (Unless, you wonder as does Countess Violet, “What is a week end?”)

  8. I went to the premieir in nyc in the spring with my actress daughter (16). I sat across from Valentino, wrote about in on my FB page remember? I thought it was the best film i have seen in years. And my daughter had no problems with the subtitles, she thought it was so good.

  9. I told you about this when it came out, I am so passionate about it wondering if the american version will do it justice in its casting, not too commercial!!
so happy you love it, when i read your blog I feel like we should be sisters, except that you can eat anything and still look good, and i get fat just admiring your pictures!! xxx

  10. I am waiting for this one–There are some wonderful pictures to help us “beat the heat” this summer. I recommend “Take This Waltz”–a marvelously smart and literary film with the luminous Michelle Williams.

  11. Of course!…………if I can find it. We wait for everything here in Canada. Might have to head to Toronto for a weekend at the Ritz Carleton just to see it. I have my thinking cap on today! XO

  12. I loved the trailer, really laughed. As far as I can tell it will be relased in Sydney in September. There’s an American version? why?
