Thinking Outside The Vase

I need to take a “Cheat Day” and post an article I wrote for The Huffington Post earlier this year.  I’m playing a rather hectic game of Catch Up this week after being away for so long, and much like my luck in Vegas last weekend, I’m losing! Although some of you might have already read the article if you’ve visited my “Press Box” tab,  I never actually posted it on Slim Paley.  I’ve copied and pasted below, but it looks a little out of focus for some reason, so I’m also attaching the direct link here;

I promise to be back once again with a good “Friday Favourites” …and here’s the novel part for me… on FRIDAY!

  1. As it happened I had pressed your Press Box button! But it is nice to see this one again. And I especially love your Irish Oatmeal tins as vases. Very cute. xo

  2. Smiling at the oatmeal cans. Love the ideas. I like to collect vases but now I’ll be open to new possibilities! ~ Exquisite flowers.

  3. Oh hi!

    I cannot live long enough to read all the great blog posts……and even move……so I love a hiatus!

    A fellow blogger of yours visited Santa Barbara…….(where she grew up!!) and gave me a lovely present she said she bought from you!

    This adorable canvas bag with an Hermes Birkin on the front of it!

    So cool!

    Thanks!!

    ps Tracey Jackson………a great girl.

  4. I love the rain boots! How cute is that!

    I have an old souvenir shot glass sitting on my desk. I’ll snag a small rose from one of my bushes on the way to the car and plop it in the shot glass when I get to work.

    Cheers!
    J.
